Charter Tech Limited and its foreign technical partner, Randeco Solutions Limited (UK), have diversified into Oilfield Operations through a strategic agency arrangement with ZFA Technologies Incorporation, a Chinese-American Enhanced Oil Recovery company.
ZFA's proprietary BERO Bio-surfactant Enzyme Formula is applied to wells with highly depleted production caused by plugging, high water cut, or reduced reservoir pressure with the goal of recovering additional oil through traditional methods.
The typical BERO treatment is effective for a minimum of 12 months, is environment-friendly, and leaves no harmful derivatives. Its first successful commercial application in Africa was demonstrated on depleted onshore wells in the Egyptian Basin.
